Retesim sells eSIM mobile data plans for travelers at retesim.com.
2. What we sell
Retesim sells digital eSIM mobile data plans (“Plans”). Plans are digital products — there is no physical shipment. After purchase, you receive eSIM installation details (typically a QR code and/or activation instructions) by email and/or in your account.
Plan fulfillment is provided through our connectivity supplier. Retesim is the seller and your point of contact for support, billing and customer service. Retesim is not an official partner, agent, representative, or distributor of our connectivity supplier, and nothing on this site should be read as such a claim.
3. Device compatibility and your responsibility
Before purchasing, you are responsible for confirming that your device supports eSIM technology, and that your device is unlocked and not restricted to a single carrier network.
See our Compatible Devices and Installation Guide pages for how to check this. At checkout, you are asked to confirm that your device supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. A Plan cannot generally be refunded because a device turned out to be incompatible or carrier-locked — see our Refund Policy.
4. Installation, activation and provisioning
Instructions for installing and activating your eSIM are provided on our Installation Guide page and in your order confirmation. “Provisioning” refers to your Plan being generated and made ready for installation by our connectivity supplier after you complete your purchase — this is the point after which our supplier generally treats a Plan as non-refundable (see Refund Policy).
5. Your responsibilities and prohibited use
You agree to use your eSIM and data Plan only for your own personal or business connectivity needs, in a manner consistent with normal device use. The following are not permitted: sharing, reselling, or transferring your eSIM or its QR code/activation credentials to another person; using a Plan in a device or setup not intended for normal end-user connectivity (for example, SIM boxes, gateways, or automated/bulk traffic routing); excessive or automated tethering/hotspot use inconsistent with normal personal use; and any fraudulent, illegal, or abusive use of the network.
These restrictions reflect the acceptable-use requirements of our connectivity supplier. Violating them may result in suspension of your Plan without refund.
6. Unlimited plans and Fair Usage Policy (FUP)
Unlimited plans are subject to a Fair Usage Policy and network traffic management. Speeds may be reduced after heavy use. In cases of sustained high usage, and after our supplier’s internal usage threshold is reached, a Plan may stop providing usable mobile data until a new Plan is activated. Specific usage thresholds are not published by our supplier and are not stated by Retesim.
“Unlimited” means no fixed data cap under normal use — not unlimited speed at all times, and not immune from fair-usage limits.
7. Service and network limitations
Mobile data connectivity depends on local network availability, our supplier’s roaming agreements, and factors outside Retesim’s control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or a specific speed in every advertised location.
8. Pricing, taxes and payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout (EUR). Retesim is not currently registered for VAT/PDV in Serbia and does not currently add Serbian VAT to the displayed price. Depending on where you are located, your purchase may still be subject to value-added tax or an equivalent consumption tax under the law of your own country (for example, EU consumers purchasing digital services from a non-EU seller may be subject to EU VAT rules, generally collected and remitted by the seller). We ask for your billing country at checkout in order to determine, and where we are legally required to, apply the correct tax treatment for your order; this section will be updated once Retesim finalizes its VAT/tax registration status in any relevant jurisdiction. Payment is processed by our payment provider, Paysera (see our Privacy Policy); Retesim does not store your full card details.
9. Refunds
See our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In general, our connectivity supplier’s Mobile Data Plans are non-refundable once provisioned, and our Refund Policy sets out the situations where a refund or replacement may still apply.
10. Support
For help with an order, installation, or a technical issue, contact us via our Contact page or at support@retesim.com. We aim to respond as soon as reasonably possible.
11. Digital content and your right to cancel
Plans are digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium. Consumer-protection law — including, for EU consumers, Directive 2011/83/EU as implemented in their home country, and, for consumers in Serbia, the Zakon o zaštiti potrošača — normally gives you a 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason. This right does not apply once we begin providing you with the digital content (that is, once your Plan is provisioned), provided you have given prior express consent to that immediate provisioning and have acknowledged that you will lose your right of withdrawal as a result.
By ticking the checkbox at checkout confirming that you accept these Terms and Conditions, you expressly request and consent to the immediate provisioning of your Plan, and you acknowledge and agree that once provisioning begins you lose your statutory right to withdraw from the purchase. If you do not want to give this consent, please do not complete your purchase, or contact us at support@retesim.com immediately after ordering and before your Plan is provisioned. This clause does not affect any right you may have where a Plan was never delivered, fails, or is materially not as described — see our Refund Policy.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
13. Governing law and your rights as a consumer
These Terms, and any dispute arising from or in connection with them or with your purchase, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by agreement (for EU consumers, in particular under Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I) and Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels I bis)). This clause does not limit any right you may have to bring a complaint before a consumer body, ombudsman, or court in your own country, or via an applicable online dispute resolution platform.
